Wombs Of Lilith

Pregnancy, Labor, and Childbirth

Becoming a Mother - The Goal Of The Journey

Congratulations!

Congratulations! Of the millions of sperm released by your Seedbearer, a single sperm found the egg released from one of your ovaries while in one of your fallopian tubes, penetrated and fertilized it, and then the developing embryo traveled the rest of the way down the fallopian tube and implanted in the lining of your womb. You are pregnant!

The next 40 weeks are something to celebrate as you prepare to bring a new life into the Kingdom of Lucifer and Lilith through the process of pregnancy, labor and childbirth.

While entre books have been written and video series have been produced about pregnancy and childbirth, this page will give you the basics. It is still a work in progress..

Finding Out:

If you are practicing Conscious Conception, you may know very early when this has happened. If you are keeping a Reproductive Health Journal, you should have a good idea of when your next menstrual period should be starting. But even before it's late, when in tune with your body you should notice some of the other signs, as may your partner.

When you suspect it, a home pregnancy test can give you the answer you need. It's recommended that you get two and use them on two sequential mornings. False negatives are far more common than false positives, but if both come out yes, you know for sure.

If you get a positive, there are a few things you need to do. If you have not already, you should immediately cease smoking tobacco or marijuana, and any illegal drugs you may be using, although it is far better if you have avoided these things in the first place. We discourage all potential Wombs of Lilith from the use of tobacco, marijuana, and illegal drugs. You should also avoid alcohol from this time forward.

If you have any medical conditions that require you to take regular medications, you should consult with your doctor or a midwife. Depending on the situation you might be referred to a high-risk OB/GYN. Some medications are safe during other pregnancy, while others can be deadly.

If you don't have any such medical conditions, we recommend that you seek out a qualified midwife. They can provide much the same care as a doctor, but are usually more open to things like home births or birthing-center births. Sometimes a hospital IS necesssary, but women often have a much better experience outside of them.

Congratulations! The next few months will be a roller coaster of emotions and experiences.

1st Trimester:

The first trimester is filled with excitement and changes. Every part of your body will be in use, including parts that have never been "activated" before if this is your first pregnancy.

Doctors will measure it as starting with the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP) and goes for 12 weeks from there. If you were practicing Consious Conception you may know the exact date of conception, but doctors and midwives will still use the "traditional" method.

You will find that you have to pee more often. Your blood volume will begin to increase, and your kidneys will be eliminating more waste. Just go with the flow.

In the first weeks after the embryo implants in your uterus, it begins to grow. It is working on growing a nervous system (brain and spinal cord), heart, lungs and kidneys
